Initially built by Irving Zuelke, the Residences of Zuelke is the historic renovation and adaptive reuse of the 12-story Zuelke Tower located in downtown Appleton, WI. Advanced Restoration performed the following work of the mixed-use residential tower: Restoration of the existing elevator shaft, exterior masonry and tuckpointing, new masonry window openings created, restoration of the historic storefront, as well as the gold and bronze accent pieces. In addition, all elevations of the entire exterior masonry was meticulously washed to remove decades of soot and stain, and once completed the existing “I” and “Z” logos were updated with a beautiful two-toned gray and gold masonry coating.
